”A lot of this horrific Little Shop is not only sweet, melodic, funny and oddly idealistic, it's even, well, tasty.” Los Angeles Time
The Gables Cinema and the Secret Celluloid Society presents the cinematic adaptation of Meken and Ashman's off-Broadway musical, Frank Oz's wacky horror comedy Little Shop of Horrors, screening as part of our special late-night After Hours series! Little Shop of Horrors tells the story of Seymour (Rick Moranis), a nerdy florist who winds up raising a giant man-eating Venus Fly-Trap on human blood to save the shop and impress his crush Audrey (Ellen Greene). Memorable special guest appearances including James Belushi, John Candy, Christopher Guest, & Bill Murray. The New York Times raves Little Shop of Horrors is "a full-blown movie musical, and quite a winning one."
