Family Fun on the Plaza

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Miami International Children’s Film Festival! The Coral Gables Art Cinema is thrilled to bring this great event back for South Florida families and kids who are hungry for alternatives to mainstream, commercial movies. We are presenting the best of global art house films this year, partnering with one of North America's most important festivals of its kind, the New York International Children's Film Festival. Come back each day and enjoy an adventurous and fun week filled with diverse, smart and awe-inspiring films you won't get to see anywhere else. Don't forget about the workshops, parties, discussions with visiting filmmakers and Family Fun on the Plaza as our week-long extravaganza comes back to the Gables Cinema this December.

Family Fun on the Plaza takes place during the first days of the festival on Saturday, 12/26 at 10:30 am & Sunday, 12/27 at 9:30 am. This is a free event that takes place in-front of the Gables Cinema with face-painting, balloon animals, music and more!
