Family Fun on the Plaza

Welcome to the 5th Annual Miami International Children’s Film Festival!

The Coral Gables Art Cinema is thrilled to bring this spectacular event back for South Florida families and kids who are hungry for alternatives to mainstream, commercial movies. We are presenting the best of global art house films this year, partnering with one of North America's most important festivals of its kind, the New York International Children's Film Festival. Come back each day and enjoy an adventurous and fun weekend filled with diverse, smart and awe-inspiring films you won't get to see anywhere else. Don't forget about the Opening Reception, workshops, events and Family Fun on the Plaza as our 3 day extravaganza comes back to the Gables Cinema this November.

Family Fun on the Plaza takes place during the second and third day of the festival on Saturday, November 4 & Sunday, November 5 at 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. This is a free event that will be held in front of the Gables Cinema on the Perrin Plaza with face-painting, balloon animals, live music, dance parties, food and more!
