Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey

Saturday, 8/11 & Sunday, 8/12

"The rare family film that really ought to please the entire family.” – Kevin Thomas, L.A. Times

A trio of pets – Chance, an American bulldog; Shadow, a Golden Retriever; and Sassy, a Himalayan cat – are left on a ranch after their family moves to San Francisco. Fearing they’ve been abandoned, the furry friends embark on a journey across the American wilderness to reach their family. Directed by frequent David Lynch collaborator Duwayne Johnson, who edited Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart, Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey is fun family film in the vein of Old Disney. In fact, it’s a remake of the 1963 version also made by Disney. It features the voices of Michael J. Fox, Sally Field, and Don Ameche as the pets.
