Shortly before his execution on the death row in San Quentin, amateur sleuth and baby photographer Ronnie Jackson (Bob Hope), tells reporters how he got there. Writing in The New York Times, Bosley Crowther said, " there is magic in the juxtaposition of Mr. Hope and a dame—any dame this side of Woodlawn—and a preposterously turbulent plot."
