Jo, a witty 9-year old terminally ill girl, loves films and superheroes. When she's taken back home to her rural village to live out her short life, she is stuck with nothing to do since all of her friends are at school. Cue her rebellious teenage sister Mwix, overprotective mother Kathryn and the entire village of Maweni who all mastermind a genius plan to make young Jo's wish to be a Superhero come true.
