"Engrossing and entertaining sudsy romance with top notch performances." - Cinema Crazed

Join us for our special Valentine’s Day Weekend screening of Director Nick Cassavetes’ iconic tear-jerker The Notebook, on 35mm as part of our late-night After Hours series. It is present day, and Duke (James Garner) reads a love story from a notebook to nursing home Alzheimer’s patient (Gena Rowlands). The story recedes back to the 1940’s tell the tale of affluent 17-year-old Allie (Rachel McAdams) who meets working-class boy Noah (Ryan Gosling). Over the course of their summer together, Allie and Noah fall deeply in love. However her parent's disapproval, World War II and growing social differences cause a constant wedge between them. Technically exceptional while featuring engrossing and compelling performances from each actor, Critic Joe Morgenstern of the Wall Street Journal remakes that The Notebook is, “A lovely surprise. Ripe with feeling and lush with physical beauty, it's a love story that swings confidently between age and youth.”

After Hours is the best films you never saw on the big screen (or maybe you did) from late-night cult classics to foreign favorites and even summer blockbusters on weekends. Please note that unclaimed pre-ordered tickets will be sold to the rush line 30 mins after showtime.
